Sheri B. Bronstein is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Bank of America and a member of the company’s executive management team. With over two decades at the firm and more than 30 years in the industry, Sheri leads a global HR organization of 4,000 professionals across 28 countries, supporting over 200,000 employees worldwide. She is responsible for shaping and executing the company’s people strategy and for overseeing its real estate portfolio of workspaces and client-facing locations.

As CHRO since 2015, Sheri has focused on making Bank of America a Great Place to Work by championing workplace culture, talent development, and employee well-being. Her strategy includes enhancing diversity and inclusion, recognizing performance, expanding access to professional growth, and advancing physical, emotional, and financial wellness initiatives. She played a key leadership role during the pandemic, directing human capital efforts to ensure workforce stability and employee safety.

One of her notable achievements includes the creation of The Academy at Bank of America, a centralized learning platform that integrates onboarding, skills training, and career development. She also led the expansion of Life Event Services, which provides tailored support for employees and their families navigating career transitions, critical events, and personal challenges.

Sheri brings a data-driven approach to HR leadership, using workforce analytics to identify trends and drive strategic business outcomes. She spearheaded the publication of Bank of America’s inaugural Human Capital Management Report, setting a benchmark for transparency in reporting on diversity, compensation, and employee development metrics.

Beyond her role at Bank of America, Sheri is a recognized thought leader in human capital strategy, mental health advocacy, and inclusive leadership. She co-leads the Mental Health Forum and serves on several external boards and councils, including:
